Pilgrimage to St Albans
Over the weekend of 12 & 13 September the Bromley Parish Church Choir sang at services at St Albans Cathedral. To mark this occasion we organised a spiritual pilgrimage on the Saturday 12 September. A party of us set off by train and car and arrived at St Albans at 11.00am in good time for Communion at midday at St Alban's shrine. It was a really wonderful day with the choir and Alex on the organ sounding magnificent and highly praised by Cathedral staff and visitors. We enjoyed lunch and tea together and had a truly wonderful Spiritual Guide around the Cathedral before we all joined the Choral Evensong service at 4pm. Whilst we returned home the choir had services on Sunday morning and evening.
