Young people – spiritual and social activities to have fun, explore faith and build friendships

“The streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof” - Zechariah 8v5 proclaims the stained glass window above our baptismal font and emphasises the essential part of children in our worshipping community.

Young families are made very welcome at Bromley Parish Church.  There is something for children every week.

On first Sundays at 09.00 there is Family Breakfast Club for young families and the young at heart.

On the second and fourth Sundays,  we have our Little Fishes Club for children up to 10, who can take part in fun craft or drama activities to learn more about Jesus during the 10:30 Eucharist Service before rejoining parents to receive a blessing with their parents at Communion. For older children there is Angel Fish Club.  We will usually take these children on a course towards a First Communion and later to confirmation.

On the third Sunday of the month, at 10:30, there is a more informal All Age service with a worship group that young people are welcome to join. We share the communion in a more family orientated way and the sermons are aimed more toward the younger generation.

On Thursday evenings we have Junior Choir Club at 6:00pm for children over 7 years old.

At all services, there are books for children at the back of the church and, on the south side of the church, a quiet carpeted area with toys and games for little children. A screen is used to display the service to this area.

During the summer, there is a very popular holiday club.
